Mandatory safety training is completed during Officer Seminars, which are held annually in various locations around the world. This is supported by additional non-mandatory courses to improve professional standards.

We also maintain an active cadet training programme for our Deck, Engineering and Electrical cadets as well as other ranks.

SHORE TEAM

Training programmes for our office staff include:

  • Safety Leadership, a programme designed to build a leadership team with the skills and capabilities to deliver our strategy, optimise our people’s performance, and adopt a leadership style that creates enduring value
  • Gearbulk Online Training, bespoke courses covering vessel safety, operations, maritime regulations, cybersecurity, health & wellbeing, anti-trust, anti-bribery and anti-corruption
